Scholarships & Bursaries
LAMDA’s Scholarship & Bursaries Scheme
LAMDA’s student support system currently helps one in five students on our undergraduate courses (the BA (Hons) Professional Acting and Production & Technical Arts courses) and we award over £330,000 annually in means-tested scholarships and bursaries towards tuition fees and living costs. LAMDA’s Scholarships & Bursaries Scheme is funded solely through donations from generous individuals and trusts & foundations. If you are offered a place to train at LAMDA, you will be invited to apply for a LAMDA scholarship.
Conservatoire Scholarship Scheme
As LAMDA is a part of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama (CDD), means-tested CDD scholarships are available for eligible UK and EU undergraduate students on our BA (Hons) Professional Acting and Production & Technical Arts courses who are new to higher education. The criteria for these scholarships are subject to change at the discretion of the CDD. If you are offered a place to train at LAMDA, you will be invited to apply for a CDD scholarship.
Other Scholarship Opportunities
LAMDA works with a number of partners to offer scholarship opportunities for students who want to train with us. We are pleased to be working with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation to award scholarship funding to a Greek student to support their training at the Academy in 2018-19; more information will be available soon. US applicants for the MA Classical Acting for the Professional Theatre may be eligible to apply for the Fulbright-John Wood LAMDA Award to cover tuition fees and help with maintenance costs.
