About the Group Recital exam

For the Group Recital exams the group works together to create a recital made up of verse and prose selections, linked together by their own words. They can speak in unison or take individual roles.

Learners engage with the verse and prose pieces to discover creative ways of bringing them together and then present them in a way that connects with their audience.

Groups must consist of at least three learners (there is no maximum), with every member helping to create the work and then perform it.

Teamwork is essential. The group is graded as a whole, receiving one collective result for all their hard work.

This is a non-regulated examination.

They grow two inches with confidence and positivity when they stand there and perform.
