A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong on BBC One

A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong on BBC One

Following last Christmas’ hugely successful Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Oliver Award-winning grads Mischief Comedy are back on television screens this festive season with their latest comedic offering, A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong.

Unfortunately after last year’s broadcast, the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society were blacklisted by the BBC; however, the gang are back to hijack a ‘live’ production of A Christmas Carol staged by a professional cast. A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong follows the group from Cornley as they realise they have no idea how to direct a live studio or handle special effects, and their own internal rivalries are embarrassingly revealed on national television.

When asked about the upcoming broadcast, Mischief Theatre Artistic Director, Henry Lewis, said “We’re absolutely thrilled to be back on the BBC this Christmas, but it is regrettable the BBC don’t know it yet”.

Written and starring grad Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer & Henry Shields, alongside five other grads, you’d be going wrong to miss it!

Exact details of broadcast are still to be confirmed by BBC One.
