Hello Again

Hello Again

Words & Music by Michael John LaChiusa
Suggested by the play La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler
Directed by Louise Shephard
Designed by Adrian Gee
Performed in The Linbury Studio

Ten nameless characters pair up in ten different scenes of sexual pleasure and/or despair. From a senator and an actress to a writer and a young wife; one character from each scene moves on to the next, seemingly dumping their old partner in favour of new prey.

Hello Again has a dreamlike quality as it spans the 20th Century, exploring the joys and depths of sexual attraction. Inspired by La Ronde, Arthur Schnitzler’s controversial 1897 play about sex and class, this musical fantasy is bold, funny and unforgettable.

This production contains adult themes.

An amateur production by arrangement with R&H Theatricals Europe.
