Pieces
ColLAB is split into two showings containing four pieces in Showing 1 and five pieces in Showing 2. Follow the below links to find out more about each piece.
Showing 1: BOOK NOW
Containing From Mud and Water, I Hate This Part, Shukir Baari (Shuki’s Home), Maya Kulper and The Climate Cabaret

From Mud and Water
We are made from mud and water, of that we are fairly certain. But what makes us human? Around a campfire, five friends share stories of their cultural background, trying to answer this primordial question - thus creating a new hybrid mythology.

I Hate This Part
We see you as sort of a......strong, English rose, exotic love interest bond girl, mum, crunchy, frazzled British woman, doctor, maternal lawyer, slimy slick sluggish, rich auntie, gritty, girlboss, top boy, girl next door, single slutty friend.

Shukir Baari (Shuki’s Home) & Maya Kulper
Contains two solo pieces.
Shukir Baari (Shuki’s Home) pivots round a girl called Shuki, who finds herself and her family on the wrong side of the border after the declaration of the Partition of India by the British Raj.
Maya Kulper centres around Maya, a young, ambitious woman, eager to get ahead, and make the world a better place. But is she ready to go too far to please the powers that be?
Showing 2: BOOK NOW
Containing The Hour of the Star, Between the Sheets, Bakerloo Line Northbound, Oxford Circus, 8:16am, Spitting Image and Collidoscope.

The Hour of the Star
"The greatness of every human being." What very well may be the first stage adaptation in English of Clarice Lispector's surreal and touching novela: the story follows the misadventures of an unfortunate young Macabéa as her encounters with several surprising characters are documented by a mercurial narrator.

Between the Sheets
‘Porn is different. It’s an ideal, it’s hypothetical, it’s a fantasy. In the real world, I love you, I choose you.’ Jasmine and Noel have been on their first date. Leah and Tom are getting married. How far will porn occlude their intimacy and their love?

Bakerloo Line Northbound, Oxford Circus, 8:16am
Bakerloo Line Northbound, Oxford Circus, 8:16am. It’s hot. It’s sweaty. It’s summer. It’s rush hour. We’ve all got somewhere to be. We’ve all got shit to deal with. Some more than others.

Spitting Image
Three women—strangers—find themselves sharing the same cramped nightclub bathroom on a chaotic Saturday night. Between mascara touch-ups, drunken tears, and the hum of bass vibrating through the walls, they strike up conversation. What begins as small talk quickly unravels into something deeper, darker, and unexpectedly familiar.

Collidoscope
A collection of two stories: one explores the mind of a black queer man affected by the harms of dating apps; the other follows two men on a journey to find a better life who end up stranded on an island.
