Our Study Abroad Programmes
Semester Programme: Classical Acting (Spring)
Immerse yourself in the rich traditions of British performance during a Spring semester at LAMDA. Through acting, voice and movement, you’ll work with classical and contemporary texts by leading British playwrights, alongside specialist training in skills such as stage combat. With expert guidance and a close-knit community of fellow performers, you’ll develop your versatility, confidence and connection to the craft.
Shakespeare Summer School (8 week)
Dive into the world of Shakespeare and Jacobean plays while developing your classical acting skills. During your time on this eight-week summer school, you’ll rehearse and perform two plays, enjoy masterclasses and specialist skills sessions, and embark on incredible field trips. Guided by expert LAMDA directors, you’ll strengthen your understanding of classical performance in its cultural home.
Semester Programme: Classical Acting (Autumn)
Journey through the works of major British playwrights in a dynamic Autumn semester at LAMDA. Working in a close-knit community of fellow performers, you’ll explore classical and contemporary texts through acting, voice, and movement, while developing specialist skills such as stage combat. Immersed in British theatre practice, you’ll build creative confidence, versatility, and a deeper connection to performance.
