American Friends of LAMDA

About AFLAMDA

Since 2005, the American Friends of LAMDA (AFLAMDA) has been vital in enabling talented individuals from across the United States to pursue professional conservatoire training in London, regardless of their financial background.

LAMDA welcomes hundreds of American students each year to its full-time, summer, and semester programmes, offering a rigorous ensemble-based approach to acting, musical theatre, directing and technical theatre.

We hold annual auditions in major U.S. cities, showcase our graduates in Los Angeles and New York, and maintain strong transatlantic ties through our thriving community of alumni, supporters and partners.

With a New York hub in the heart of Broadway, LAMDA and AFLAMDA work side by side to support our organisations, staff and students to succeed in the arts and beyond.

Support the next generation of American theatre artists

LAMDA believes in the transformative power of drama but talent should never be limited by financial circumstance. One in three of our students comes from the United States, and your support helps ensure that exceptional young artists can access life-changing training, regardless of their background.

By giving to AFLAMDA, you help remove financial barriers for aspiring performers and theatre-makers. Your gift is fully tax-deductible and directly supports the future of American artistry on a global stage. Contributions can also be made through the New York Community Trust and Fidelity Charitable.
