David Roper

David joined the board of LAMDA in 2023 and currently chairs the Audit and Risk Committee. 

A former financial services partner at PwC, David has also spent many years supporting education and performing arts organisations in the UK.  David is currently the Chair of the National Youth Choir and is a trustee of E-ACT, a leading multi-academy trust.  He was previously the deputy chair of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, ABRSM and The Royal Northern College of Music, where he served on the board for 14 years.

He is also the Senior Independent Director of Atom Bank and a non-executive director of NFU Mutual.

David chairs the audit and risk committee and is also a member of the nominations and remuneration committee.
