About the exam
Take the first step into LAMDA Exams by working within a group to collaborate, communicate, and develop confidence.
Each group must be made up of between three and 10 learners. Whether performing a poem or playing a drama game with the examiner, they learn fundamental communication and teamwork skills by being creative and performing together. This exam is particularly valuable as a starting point before learners progress to graded Communication and Performance qualifications.
Within the group, each learner has the chance the shine solo by taking lines or phrases from the poem to perform alone. The group is then graded as a whole, receiving a collective result for all their hard work.
