About the course
(Re)Discover Linklater voice technique with this Actor Refresh evening course, designed for professional actors who would like to deepen and develop their craft.
Kristen Linklater was a voice and speech coach, who trained at LAMDA, and became renowned for her voice methodology. This practical course will cover the basics at a pace suitable for actors with prior acting and voice experience.
You'll leave the course with a selection of techniques which you can incorporate into your personal actor's process.
Meet the Tutor
This course will be led by voice coach Françoise Walot. Françoise became a Designated Linklater Teacher in 1993, and has since taught voice and acting at different institutions.

What will I learn?
- You'll explore how to undo habitual tensions in the body.
- You'll explore the voice/body/mind connection.
- You'll explore the concept of uninhibited sound.
- You'll explore how to apply this work to text.
“It felt really accessible – you can fit it around work and other commitment that you have and other projects that you’re working on.”

Please note that from time to time we may need to change the advertised tutor due to availability. In these instances, we will always replace the tutor with an alternative LAMDA tutor or associate.
