About the course

Learn the core skills of audio performance in this week-long course, designed for anyone interested in voiceover, radio drama and audiobook recording.

Working with an expert LAMDA audio tutor, you'll  explore mic technique, script preparation for audio performance, character voice and vocal care. You'll have multiple opportunities to record, using LAMDA's industry standard recording equipment, and to listen back to your work.

You'll leave the course with a thorough foundational understanding of audio performance techniques.

What will I learn?

  1. Learn how to work 'on mic'; including microphone technique and etiquette.
  2. Discover how to prepare a text/script prior to recording.
  3. Explore character voice and vocal care.

"I would recommend this to people who are serious about levelling up their audio performance and who want to benefit from the vast wealth of knowledge of industry professionals."
