How to find us

Our three theatre spaces: The Sainsbury Theatre, The Carne Studio Theatre and The Linbury Theatre are based at LAMDA in south west London.

How to get to LAMDA

By rail

If you're travelling to London by rail for any of our events, keep up to date with the latest information including strike action via the National Rail website.

By tube

Our nearest tube station is Barons Court, which is a three-minute (approximately 200 metre) walk from LAMDA and served by the District and Piccadilly lines.

Hammersmith tube station is a ten-minute (approximately 900 metres) walk away and is a fully accessible station, with step-free access.

By bus

We are a ten-minute (approximately 900 metres walk away from Hammersmith Broadway bus station, which is served by a number of buses.

By car

We are outside the congestion charging zone, but there is no parking available on site.

The nearest car park is the Kings Mall car park in Hammersmith. The postcode for this car park is W6 0BT.

Access

Our building is fully accessible, with lift access to all floors and accessible toilet facilities available for each theatre.

Enjoy a pre-show drink when you visit us

Our Manny & Brigitta Foyer bar is open throughout our season of shows. During the day it provides light bites for breakfast and lunch and into the evening it provides a range of alcoholic options and soft drinks. During our season of shows the bar will be open for pre-show and interval drinks between 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Explore the gallery below.

On arrival, we are no longer using thermal imaging for temperature checks and audience members do not need to provide proof of vaccination with vaccine passports.

We are no longer encouraging social distancing at LAMDA and our productions are at full capacity, allowing more audience members to join us for our shows.

For the comfort of all audience members we politely request the continued use of face coverings during performances.

General information

  • Doors will open 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the performance.

  • We would still like to encourage the use of hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities.The closest toilets to the entrance are available next to the Box Office in The Manny & Brigitta Davidson Foyer.

  • You will be checked in via a guest list. Only persons on the guest list will be permitted entrance to the building and the performance. 

  • Only sit on designated seating. 

  • Our Foyer bar is now open, guests are welcome to enjoy a pre-show or interval drink. The Foyer bar will be open from 6:30pm - 9:30pm on performance days serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks. A cafe serving light bites and drinks will be available during the daytime for matinee performances.
