Brian Cox returns to LAMDA to lead BBC acting masterclass
In July, LAMDA welcomed back esteemed alumnus Brian Cox to lead an acting masterclass for the BBC.
Known for his outstanding work on stage and screen and his acclaimed performance in Succession, Cox spent the day in LAMDA's flagship theatre where he shared insights and techniques with our MFA acting students and coached them on scenes from classic plays including Othello, Hamlet and The Seagull.
The masterclass was a fantastic experience for our students, who had the rare opportunity to receive personalised feedback and guidance from Cox on building their characters, conveying emotion and building a connection with the audience.
This event is part of LAMDA's ongoing commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for its students and building fruitful partnerships with other essential organisations within the creative arts.
The full masterclass will be available to stream on the BBC website in November.
