Latest releases

  • Ruth Wilson is now starring in The Woman in the Wall, airing on BBC One. Catch up with the series so far on BBC iPlayer.
  • Season 2 of Foundation starring Leah Harvey is now streaming on Apple TV.
  • Okezie Morro has joined the cast of Tina The Musical, playing at Aldwych Theatre.
  • Lee Ingleby will be amongst the cast of drama The Long Shadow, set to air on ITV this September.
  • English Touring Theatre’s production of Macbeth is touring the UK, featuring sound design by Tingying Dong.
  • Scrapper, featuring Carys Bowkett, is now showing in cinemas.
  • The Wheel of Time season 2, starring Dónal Finn, begins streaming on Amazon Prime from 1 September.
  • Amit Shah stars in Klokkenluider, released in cinemas on 1 September.
  • Jeeves & Wooster in Perfect Nonsense, starring Patrick Warner, is showing at Salisbury Playhouse from 1 – 23 September.
  • 2023 graduate Peace Oseyenum's debut feature film, thriller A Song From the Dark, will be screened at BFI Southbank on 2 September.
  • Rohan Rakhit stars in the Old Vic’s production of Pygmalion, running from 6 September – 28 October.
  • From 8 September – 7 October, Esh Alladi is starring in Great Expectations at the Royal Exchange Theatre.
  • It's Headed Straight Towards Us, co-written by Nigel Planer, is showing at Park Theatre from 13 September.
  • Yasmine Haller and Will Bishop star in Sorry We Didn't Die at Sea at Park Theatre from 13 – 30 September.
  • Amir El-Masry will be appearing in Agatha Christie’s A Haunting in Venice, in cinemas from 14 September.  
  • From 15 September, Jemma Redgrave will be starring in Octopolis at Hampstead Theatre.
  • From 19 September – 15 October, Tingying Dong is providing sound design for The Tempest at Unicorn Theatre.
  • The fourth and final season of Sex Education, featuring Imani Yahshua and Alistair Petrie, arrives on Netflix on 21 September.
  • From 23 September – 28 October, Matt Doyle plays Frank Sinatra in Birmingham Rep’s world premiere of Sinatra the Musical.
  • We Could All Be Perfect is playing at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield from 23 September – 14 October. The production stars Rosa Hesmondhalgh and is sound designed by Annie May Fletcher
  • Benedict Cumberbatch joins a star cast in Netflix’s The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, streaming from 27 September.
  • Saroja-Lily Ratnavel and Garmon Rhys are amongst the cast of The Hypochondriac, playing at Sheffield Theatre from 30 September – 21 October.

Things to look forward to

  • Alistair Nwachukwu will star in Choir Boy at Bristol Old Vic from 12 October – 11 November.
  • Lee Braithwaite will star in RSC’s production of Cowbois, playing from 14 October – 18 November.
  • From 17 October – 23 December, Tingying Dong will be providing sound design for Lyonesse at Harold Pinter Theatre.
  • David Hearn will appear in The Time Machine at Park Theatre from 30 November – 30 December.
  • William Robinson will star in Bacon at Bristol Old Vic from 21 – 25 November.
  • 2022 graduate Tienne Simon will feature alongside Sam Claflin and Rory Kinnear in Animal, expected to premiere in 2024.  
  • Sam Claflin is currently filming a new adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo.
  • Alice Orr-Ewing has been cast in upcoming Channel 4 drama, Partygate.
  • Aisling Bea is set to star in Channel 4 drama series, Alice & Jack.

  • Congratulations to Tingying Dong (Production & Technical Arts), Daniel Rock (BA (Hons) Professional Acting), and Isobel Thom (Foundation programme), who have received nominations at this year’s The Stage Debut Awards.
