About the show

As the world around them falls apart, four volunteers spend their Tuesday night running Brightline, a telephone hotline.

While reassuring the fears and burdens of complete strangers, Frances, Angie, Jon and Joey search for optimism and human connection in an increasingly chaotic world. 

Sam Steiner is a playwright and screenwriter from Manchester. Sam’s theatre work includes Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons (Walrus), Kanye The First (Hightide), You Stupid Darkness! (Paines Plough/Theatre Royal Plymouth) and A Table Tennis Play (Walrus).

Hannah is a theatre director working across the UK. She was a director in the most recent Old Vic 12 cohort, was previously a Resident Director at the Almeida Theatre, a Staff Director at the National Theatre and Baylis Assistant at the Old Vic. She will soon be taking up the post of Resident Director at the National Theatre Studio.

Tickets cost £14, but we have £7 concessions tickets available to Hammersmith & Fulham residents, students, or people who are over 65, under 18 or are on Job Seeker's Allowance. You'll just need to provide proof of your eligibility when you collect your tickets at the Box Office. We offer a complimentary ticket for carers, to book please call the box office on 020 8834 0550. If you belong to our Pathways Programme or work with any of our Pathways Partners you are entitled to complimentary tickets.
