LAMDA sponsors the 2025 Black British Theatre Awards

24 October 2025

We’re proud to announce that LAMDA is a sponsor of this year’s Black British Theatre Awards, supporting the Best Female Lead Actor in a Play category.

The Black British Theatre Awards are hugely important. Now in its seventh year, the awards celebrate the talent, creativity and achievements of black performers and theatre-makers across the UK. By sponsoring this award, LAMDA reaffirms its ongoing commitment to championing representation and diversity within the performing arts.

We’re also delighted to share the news that LAMDA graduate Kyle Ndukuba (BA Hons Professional Acting, 2024) has been nominated for Best Male Lead Actor in a Play for his acclaimed performance as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. We're so excited for Kyle and extremely proud that his talent and efforts are being recognised so soon after graduating from LAMDA.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday 26th October at the Piccadilly Theatre in London, honouring outstanding contributions to British theatre and shining a spotlight on the next generation of inspiring talent.
