Transformation Gala

Since its founding in 1861, LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) has nurtured raw talent, transforming young actors, directors and technicians from all backgrounds into some of the world’s most celebrated performing artists. During the past 160 years, our Academy has also transformed itself, leading the way with outstanding training in the latest technologies and shaping the sector. Through our work on stage and screen, we enlighten, uplift and inspire, transforming perspectives and moving hearts and minds.

We now invite our supporters to join us on our transformative mission through our black-tie Gala at an iconic central London venue, hosted by LAMDA's President, Benedict Cumberbatch CBE, on Thursday 13 June 2024. Guests will experience a sparkling reception, a gourmet meal and captivating performances by LAMDA’s talented students and celebrity graduates. There will be opportunities to explore LAMDA’s transformative Virtual Production technology and to bid on exceptional prizes involving our most celebrated alumni. Through your participation, we will raise vital funds to support the next generation of dramatic artists who will go on to inspire our day-to-day lives and positively impact the industry. All funds raised will directly support LAMDA’s talented students – the next generation of stage and screen stars.

We look forward to welcoming up to 400 guests on 13 June for this unmissable celebration. Together, we will transform young lives through the power of drama.
