Ami Sayers

Project Director

Ami Sayers is an actor, writer, director and acting teacher with an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from The Royal Central School Of Speech and Drama. She is currently working towards her PhD at Sussex University, focusing on the female body and acting.

Ami teaches and directs at drama schools including RADA, LAMDA and RCSSD. She is also Co-Principal and Head of Acting at All In Actors. Ami specialises in classical text and has taught Shakespeare and classical text at many of the major drama schools at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her directing credits include Pains of Youth (RADA), Be My Baby (Park Theatre), Hamlet (Cockpit Theatre), The Tempest (immersive/site specific). 

As an actor she has played many of Shakespeares romantic leads including Juliet in Romeo and Juliet (Jermyn Street Theatre), Miranda in The Tempest and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (both at Middle Temple Hall).
