Deb Garvey
Deborah Garvey (Deb) is a voice, singing and dialect coach. She trained as an actor and singer and this reflects a multi-disciplinary approach to her teaching practice. She holds an MA in Voice Studies and is a designated Linklater Teacher. She is currently on the BA Acting voice team at RADA and a visiting lecturer on the MFA Professional Acting programme at LAMDA. Prior to this, she was a Lecturer in Voice at RCSSD, teaching voice and singing on both the MA/MFA Voice Studies and BA Collaborative and Devised Theatre programmes.
She is an experienced workshop leader and recent credits include the European Forum 2025 in Alpbach, the Globe Theatre Education Department, The Chekhov Collective, The Donmar Warehouse and the Young Vic Theatre, London as well as workshops to actors in Lithuania, Croatia and Rome.
Deb’s recent professional coaching credits in London include: the award winning Festen at the Royal Opera House, Henry V (Donmar Warehouse), Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre and Ride the Cyclone (Southwark Playhouse) plus on-set coaching on Kraven the Hunter (Sony Pictures).
