eduroam Wi-Fi at LAMDA
eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, international Wi-Fi service that enables students, staff, and visitors to connect to the internet across LAMDA - and at thousands of participating institutions worldwide.
Who Can Use eduroam?
- LAMDA staff and students: Seamless Wi-Fi access across LAMDA and when visiting other eduroam-enabled institutions in the UK and abroad.
- Visitors to LAMDA: Guests from participating eduroam institutions can connect automatically using their home institution credentials.

How to Connect Your Device to eduroam
The easiest and most secure way to connect is by using the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool (CAT).
- Visit: cat.eduroam.org
- Download the installer for your institution (search for LAMDA).
- Follow the step-by-step instructions for your device.

LAMDA Staff and Students Travelling
- Simply connect to eduroam at any participating institution using your LAMDA credentials - no need to register again.*
Visitors to LAMDA from eduroam Institutions
- You should connect automatically using your institution’s credentials. If you’re unable to connect, please speak to your home institution's IT team for support.
If you are a visitor to LAMDA and your institution doesn’t support eduroam, alternative guest Wi-Fi options are available on-site. Please contact reception or IT Services for assistance.
