Lisa Ȧkesson

Lisa is an international voice, presentation skills and executive coach, with over 25 years of experience transforming how professionals and leaders take their space, own their voice, and deliver their message with confidence, credibility and impact. 

Lisa has an ICF (ACC) Executive Coach qualification from Henley Business School and is also a Master Practitioner of NLP and a qualified Lumina Spark Psychometrician. She attained her Postgraduate Diploma in Voice Studies from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, and has worked at LAMDA training actors to use their voices for stage, film, and television. She has a BA (Hons) in English Literature.  

Her expertise span from personal impact, leading with influence, impactful negotiation, conflict management and confident communication in a range of scenarios including meetings, interviews, transitions, conferences, executive panels, key notes and TED talks. 

Lisa is passionate about empowering underrepresented groups increase their visibility, brand and impact so they can confidently put themselves forward for senior roles and affect diverse change at Executive, Board and CEO levels. Her signature executive presence offerings have empowered 2000+ participants to lead with gravitas. She was invited as a guest speaker on BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour programme to discuss the effective use of voice for women in political and leadership positions. She has co-designed a 13-year programme on Executive Presence for Women and also designed and a DEI programme for one of the top global banks, focused on leadership development for their rising talent. 

Lisa has featured in The Guardian and The Independent. She is also a speaker and trusted advisor to global corporations. Her work spans North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and beyond.
