Tim Birkett

Tim read English at UCL and later trained as an actor at Webber Douglas.  After receiving an M.A. in Voice Studies at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama he spent 8 years teaching the phonetics and accent module on the course.  He has also taught at RADA, LAMDA and Guildford School of Acting.

Tim now works as an accent and voice coach for film, TV and theatre. Theatre credits include: A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (Trafalgar Studios)  Utility (The Orange Tree) Why It’s Kicking off Everywhere (The Young Vic), I and You (Hampstead Theatre), The Funeral Director (Southwark Playhouse).  Film and TV credits include The Grinch, Black Widow, Star Wars, Tin Star, Brexit and This is Going to Hurt.
