Latest Releases
- Mazlum Gül starred in Safe Haven at Arcola Theatre which played from 14 January – 7 February.
- Jimpa, starring John Lithgow, was released in US cinemas on 6 February.
- Selina Jones, Elijah Cooke, Imani Yahshua and Ryn Alleyne star in Deep Azure, which runs at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse from 7 February – 11 April.
- The concert staging of Once on This Island took place on 8 February at Theatre Royal Drury Lane and featured Anu Akinseye, Sydney Middleton and Chéri McKenzie.
- The Royal Shakespeare Company's US tour of Hamnet features Ava Hinds Jones, Kemi-Bo Jacobs and Bert Seymour. The tour began on 10 February.
- Plewds by Kathrine Payne played at Soho Theatre on the 11 and 12 February.
- One Up: The Musical at the Madnani Theatre in Los Angeles from 21 February – 1 March is produced by Lauren Sperling.
- The UK tour of Mischief Theatre’s Christmas Carol Goes Wrong stars Matt Cavendish, Chris Leask, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Greg Tannahill, Nancy Zamit, Will Bishop and Colm Gleeson. The show was created by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, and plays until 1 March.
- Ballad Lines, which plays at Southwark Playhouse until 21 March, features Lily O' Connor as Deputy Stage Manager and Jasmin Meara Wall Assistant Stage Manager.
- Lata Nobes-Sinha stars in Paranormal Activity at the Ambassador’s Theatre until 25 April.
Things to look forward to
- The Broadway transfer of Giant, which stars John Lithgow, begins performances on 11 March.
- Summerfolk, which plays at The National Theatre from 6 March – 29 April, features Sound Designer Alexandra Faye Braithwaite and stars Tamika Bennett and Sam Jenkins-Shaw.
- Pepper Jensen, Beatrix Whilde and Abigail Devine star in Untimely Ripped: The Story of Macduff at the Golden Goose Theatre from 10 – 14 March.
- Children of the Night by Danielle Phillips is on at Southwark Playhouse Borough from 11 March – 4 April.
- TEETH 'N' SMILES performs at the Duke of York Theatre from 13 March – 6 June and stars Roman Asde.
- Ada Grey, David Shelley and Jamie Ankrah star in Romeo and Juliet at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 16 March – 6 June.
- Consumed will be performing at Park Theatre from 18 March – 18 April and stars Muireann Ní Fhaogáin.
- Miraculous by Luke Stiles will be on from 18 – 21 March at the Old Red Lion featuring Luke Stiles and Diego Zozaya and produced by Brock Looser with stage management by Maia Thompson.
- John Proctor is the Villain starring Dónal Finn and Miya James plays at The Royal Court from 20 March – 25 April.
- Aaron Pierre stars in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at The Old Vic from 1 April – 23 May.
- Lizzie Powell is the Lighting Designer for The Flying Dutchman at the Welsh National Opera, playing from 16 April – 15 May.
- Glenrothan, starring Brian Cox, will be released in UK cinemas on 17 April.
- Chiwetel Ejiofor is Executive Producer for the stage adaption of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. The show plays at Soho Place from 25 April – 18 July and stars Alistair Nwachukwu.
- Dame Maureen Lipman is set to star in the UK tour of Allegra which opens on 12 May.
- 1536 will transfer to The Ambassadors Theatre from May and features Tingying Dong as Sound Designer/Composer.
- Emily Beecham stars in the upcoming Supergirl film which will be released on 26 June.
- Emily Beecham stars in the upcoming television series Elle which will be released on Amazon Prime Video on 1 July.
- a small and quiet light at Chichester Festival Theatre from 21 August – 12 September is written by Stephanie Street, features Actor/Consultant Producer Priyanga Burford and Sound Designer Tingying Dong.
- Chiwetel Ejiofor joins the cast of the upcoming 2027 film, The Exorcist.

- Pillion, starring Harry Melling has been shortlisted for Outstanding British Film at the 2026 BAFTAs.
- Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, which features Jim Broadbent and Chiwetel Ejiofor, has also been shortlisted for Outstanding British Film at the 2026 BAFTAs.
- A Friend of Dorothy starring Alistair Nwachukwu has been nominated at the 98th Academy Awards for Best Live Action Short.
- Georgina Duncan has won this year’s Women's Prize for Playwriting.
