Latest Releases
- Sophia Papadopoulos starred in Hamlet at the Brooklyn Academy of Music from 26 April – 17 May. The show was also Sound Designed by Alexandra Faye Braithwaite.
- Dame Harriet Walter will take part in the newest season of Who Do You Think You Are? which began on BBC One on 26 May.
- Series two of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder was released on 27 May, with Anna Maxwell Martin returning.
- The television series Star City starring Anna Maxwell Martin premiered on 29 May on Apple TV.
- MIA: Out of Sync, directed by Belle Bao, played at Battersea Art Centre from 29 – 30 May as part of Battersea Art Centre’s Homegrown Festival.
- Ziggy Heath stars in Driftwood at the Kiln Theatre from 3 June.
- On 5 June, the LAMDA Alumni Company produced a workshop performance of Gamma Delta by Kieton Saunders-Browne.
- Sam Reid stars in season three of The Vampire Lestat which premiered on 7 June.
- MyAnna Buring and Patrick Kennedy star in Stage Kiss at Hampstead Theatre, playing until 13 June.
- Meat Cute at The Other Palace from 16 – 20 June stars Laura Kirman and is directed by Nancy Zamit. The show is written and performed by an all-female team of Mischief Theatre alumni.
- Matt Doyle stars in Hello, Dolly! from 18 June – 18 July at the Ogunquit Playhouse.
- Atonement, showing at Chichester Festival Theatre until 20 June, features Composer and Sound Designer Alexandra Faye Braithwaite.
- Natasha Chivers is Lighting Designer for Inter Alia which plays at Wyndham’s Theatre until 20 June.
- Miraculous, showing at the King's Head Theatre from 16 – 20 June, features the work of Luke Stiles, Diego Zozaya, Brock Looser, Maia Thompson, Jon Aaron and Antony Lam.
- Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4, playing at Park Theatre until 27 June, features Sir David Suchet, Jim Broadbent, Paterson Joseph, Katherine Parkinson, Iwan Rheon and Benedict Cumberbatch respectively as guest performers.
- Persona, featuring Max Allen, Cameron Forrest, Elliott Diner and Leo Oliva, plays at The King’s Head Theatre on 29 and 30 June.
- Toby Stephens stars in Equus at the Menier Chocolate Factory until 27 June before transferring to Theatre Royal Bath from 13 – 25 July.
- Buonarotti, which plays at The Hope Theatre from 28 – 30 June, is written by Austin Daly.
- Phoebe Kyriakopoulos stars in Redcliffe at Southwark Playhouse until 4 July.
- Mischief Theatre’s first musical comedy Thespians tours the UK until 18 July.
- Chiwetel Ejiofor is Executive Producer for the stage adaption of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. The show plays at Soho Place until 18 July and stars Alistair Nwachukwu.
- 1536 starring Saroja-Lily Ratnavel plays at the Ambassadors Theatre until 1 August and features Tingying Dong as Sound Designer/Composer.
- Mostyn Crawford stars in The Lord Chamberlain's Men UK tour of Othello until 12 September.
Things to look forward to
- Learning to Breathe Under Water, starring Rory Kinnear, has its world premiere at Karlovy Vary Film Festival which takes place from 3 – 11 July.
- Allegra, starring Maureen Lipman, plays at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 8 July – 8 August.
- Anna Maxwell Martin has joined Netflix’s Heartstopper series which will be released on 17 July.
- Pearls Recommended, written by Anna Johnston, premieres at the Drayton Arms Theatre on 21 and 22 July. The show also features Drew Cleveland and Violet Morris.
- Richard Armitage stars in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Palladium from 27 July – 1 August.
- Nathaniel Parker to star in My Fair Lady which will play at the Sydney Opera House in September, followed by a season at the Arts Centre Melbourne in November.
Latest news
- John Lithgow won Outstanding Lead Performance in a Play for his role in Giant at the 2026 Drama Desk Awards.
- John Lithgow also won Best Leading Actor in a Play at the 2026 Tony Awards for his performance in Giant.
- Stuart Thompson was awarded second place at this year’s Ian Charleson Awards, with an honourable mention made to finalist Kyle Ndukuba.
