Alumni News: March Edition

Latest Releases 

  • The Lightkeeper starring Dominic Cooper premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival on 21 February.  
  • Lizzie Powell is Lighting Designer for Tristan Und Isolde which plays at the Theatre Royal Glasgow on 1 March and Usher Hall Edinburgh on 11 March. 
  • Summerfolk, which plays at The National Theatre from 6 March – 29 April, features Sound Designer Alexandra Faye Braithwaite and stars Tamika Bennett and Sam Jenkins-Shaw
  • Pepper Jensen, Beatrix Whilde and Abigail Devine star in Untimely Ripped: The Story of Macduff at the Golden Goose Theatre from 10 – 14 March. 
  • Children of the Night by Danielle Phillips is on at Southwark Playhouse Borough from 11 March – 4 April. 
  • The Broadway transfer of Giant starring John Lithgow begins performances on 11 March. 
  • TEETH 'N' SMILES performs at the Duke of York Theatre from 13 March – 6 June and stars Roman Asde. 
  • Ada Grey stars in Romeo and Juliet at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 16 March – 6 June. 
  • Consumed will be performing at Park Theatre from 18 March – 18 April and stars Muireann Ní Fhaogáin. 
  • Miraculous by Luke Stiles will be on from 18 – 21 March at the Old Red Lion featuring Luke and Diego Zozaya. The show is produced by Brock Looser with stage management by Maia Thompson
  • Natasha Chivers is Lighting Designer for Inter Alia which plays at Wyndham’s Theatre from 19 March – 20 June.  
  • John Proctor is the Villain starring Dónal Finn and Miya James plays at The Royal Court from 20 March – 25 April. 
  • Polly Findlay directs Midwinter Break which will be released in UK cinemas on 20 March. 
  • Arty Froushan stars in American Psycho at the Almeida Theatre until 21 March. 
  • Ballad Lines, which plays at Southwark Playhouse until 21 March, features Lily O'Connor as Deputy Stage Manager and Jasmin Meara Wall as Assistant Stage Manager. 
  • Selina Jones, Elijah Cooke, Imani Yahshua and Ryn Alleyne star in Deep Azure, which runs at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse until 11 April. 
  • Natasha Chivers is Lighting Designer for Evening All Afternoon at the Donmar Warehouse. The show plays until 11 April. 
  • Lata Nobes-Sinha stars in Paranormal Activity at the Ambassador’s Theatre until 25 April. 

Things to look forward to     

  • Aaron Pierre stars in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at The Old Vic from 1 April – 23 May.  
  • Lizzie Powell is the Lighting Designer for The Flying Dutchman at the Welsh National Opera, playing from 16 April – 15 May.  
  • William Robinson stars in Please Please Me at the Kiln Theatre from 16 April – 29 May.  
  • Ziggy Heath stars in Driftwood at The Other Place from 17 April – 30 May before the show transfers to the Klin Theatre from 3 June.  
  • Glenrothan, starring Brian Cox, will be released in UK cinemas on 17 April.  
  • Chiwetel Ejiofor is Executive Producer for the stage adaption of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. The show plays at Soho Place from 25 April – 18 July and stars Alistair Nwachukwu.  
  • Dame Harriet Walter hosts She Speaks! Harriet Walter and Friends Hosted by Clean Break at the Marylebone Theatre on 27 April. 
  • 1536 will transfer to The Ambassadors Theatre from 2 May – 1 August. The show features Tingying Dong as Sound Designer/Composer. 
  • Toby Stephens to star in Equus at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 8 May – 27 June before transferring to Theatre Royal Bath from 13 – 25 July. 
  • Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4 at Park Theatre from 11 May – 27 June features Sir David Suchet. 
  • Dame Maureen Lipman is set to star in the UK tour of Allegra which opens on 12 May.  
  • Backrooms starring Chiwetel Ejiofor will be released in US cinemas on 29 May. 
  • Atonement at Chichester festival Theatre from 29 May – 20 June features Composer and Sound Designer Alexandra Faye Braithwaite.  
  • Emily Beecham stars in the upcoming Supergirl film which will be released on 26 June.  
  • Emily Beecham stars in the upcoming television series Elle which will be released on Amazon Prime Video on 1 July. 
  • Richard Armitage stars in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Palladium from 27 July – 1 August.
  • a small and quiet light at Chichester Festival Theatre from 21 August – 12 September is written by Stephanie Street, features Actor/Consultant
    Priyanga Burford and Sound Designer Tingying Dong. 
  • A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Chichester Festival Theatre from 18 September – 17 October features Composer and Sound Designer Alexandra Faye Braithwaite.  
  • Dame Harriet Walter to star in the RSC’s production of Julius Caesar from 5 – 28 November.  
  • The RSC’s production of The Three Musketeers which plays from 28 November – 2 January 2027 features Sound Designer Tingying Dong. 
  • Amir El-Masry joins the cast of upcoming movie Alone Together.

  • Buzz: The Man & The Moon, which features John Lithgow, won Best Podcast Audio Drama at the 2026 BBC Audio Drama Awards. 
  • Lucy Karczewski has been nominated for Best supporting actress at the 2026 Olivier Awards for her role in Stereophonic.
