Edinburgh Fringe Roundup

LAMDA is proud to celebrate the diverse array of productions at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, showcasing the talent of our alumni.

Here are a few highlights of their work and where you can catch it: 

• A Microscopic Odyssey – Pleasance (Beside). Directed by Hope Wishart and featuring Ben Boulton Jones, Greta Abbey and Allie-Rae Fossum, the show plays from 5 – 16 August. More information.
   
• I Dreamt You Differently – C aquila Studio. Created and performed by Abbey Gillett, the show plays from 5 – 30 August. More information.  
   
• Play Dead – Underbelly Cowgate. Written and starring Bailey Edwards, the show plays from 5 – 30 August. More information.  
   
• Broke and Fabulous in the 21st Century – Gilded Balloon, Patter House, The Dram. Featuring Olive McHugh (actor), Kat Parry (Stage Manager and Production Technician), Anaya Abdullah (Lighting Design and Production Technician) and Velia De Nicola (Sound Design and Production Technician), the show plays from 5 – 31 August. More information.

• Trainspotting Live – Pleasance, Edinburgh International Conference Centre. Emily Ingram is Assistant Director, and the show plays from 6 – 30 August. More information.  
   
• Paper Cuts (and other small tragedies) – TheSpaceUK, Niddry Street. Emma Judge is performing and is co-producing with Evie Desheva. The show plays from 7 – 15 August. More information.

• Michael John Ciszewski: Mother, Superior – Auditorium at Bedlam Theatre. Starring Michael John Ciszewski, the show plays from 7 – 30 August. More information. 
   
•  The Wedding Date – Mint Studio, Greenside at George Street. The play was written by Sera Mustafa and Orla Tagg, and will be performed by Orla Tagg and Kate Barrington from 17 – 29 August. More information.
