The Production & Technical open day is an opportunity to meet Rob Young, Head of Production & Technical Arts at LAMDA, find out more about the course, and take a tour of the LAMDA site, theatre spaces and workshops.
This event is designed to give you a clear insight into the training that LAMDA offers, and the opportunity to talk directly with some of the tutors and students. It is also a chance to chat with people who have done the jobs that you are interested in and are keen to pass on useful information and guidance on how to get started in this thrilling industry.
The event will start promptly at 10:00am. Doors will open at 9:30am for tea, coffee and registration.

Morning session from 10:00-13:30
The morning will begin with a Welcome talk from Head of Production & Technical Arts, Rob Young, followed by an opportunity to meet members of staff, alumni and current students.
You will be divided into small groups and will be able to continue discussions about the course and life at LAMDA on rotation with the tutors and students across the following departments: Stage Management, Sound, Lighting, Set Construction / Production Management and LAMDA Admissions
A member of LAMDA’s Admissions Department will be on hand to answer any questions on funding and applying to the Production and Technical Arts – Stage & Screen Course.
