Senior Tutor - Acting Projects

CONTRACT: Permanent, full-time
ANNUAL SALARY: £38,000 to £42,000 plus benefits

Working closely with the Head of Acting, you will lead on the briefing and liaising with external project directors to ensure consistency and excellence in the student experience across all of the externally staffed acting projects. Further, you will manage the delivery of the Acting Projects, organising and administering the timetabling of classes.

With knowledge of contemporary theatre practice and acting methodologies, you will have worked professionally in the industry and will possess relevant experience in teaching acting in further and/or higher education, up to at least undergraduate level.

The successful candidate will be resilient, flexible and adaptable. S/he will demonstrate empathy with student, their learning needs and LAMDA’s artistic vision.

Head of Singing and Music

CONTRACT: Permanent, part-time
HOURS OF WORK: This post could be offered fractional either as a 0.6 or 0.8 depending on what the right applicant can offer.
ANNUAL SALARY: £40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits. 0.6 equivalent - £24,000 to £27,000 (pro rata). 0.8 equivalent - £32,000 to £36,000 (pro rata).

We are presently seeking an experienced conservatoire teacher or practitioner to be our Head of Singing and Music. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading, organising, developing and implementing the work of the Singing and Music Department in line with the Academy’s artistic vision.

A highly experienced singing teacher at Conservatoire standard training, with substantial professional experience, you will have exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, and  possess a detailed knowledge and practice of singing techniques and contemporary professional practice in singing for plays and musical theatre.
