CONTRACT: Permanent, Full-time
HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week
ANNUAL SALARY: £20,000 to £21,930 plus excellent benefits

The Examinations Administrator role involves supporting public and private examination centres who wish to have their Learners examined so that they may achieve a LAMDA qualification. It requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to operating procedures and policies to meet customer requests and meeting standards to achieve published Service Level Agreements (SLA). 

The role is office-based in LAMDA’s Examinations Department, part of our Drama Academy, but separate from the teaching and support of full-time students of the Academy.

We are presently seeking robust Examinations Administrator x 4 posts to join the Examinations Operations Team. The successful candidate will have previous administrative experience in the education sector or similar regulated environment and will have highly developed interpersonal, organisation and IT skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential together with a flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a very keen eye for detail. Problem-solving skills are a must, as is a positive attitude to supporting customers.

Marketing Manager

CONTRACT: Permanent, Full-time

ANNUAL SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000 plus benefits

We are looking for a creative and digitally savvy marketer to help promote our courses, grow audiences for our productions and develop LAMDA’s brand and public profile. This is the ideal next step for an emerging arts/education marketing manager, with exceptional project management skills and previous experience of working across the full marketing and communications mix.

The successful candidate will join a small, fast-paced Marketing & Communications department. He/she will be enthusiastic, conscientious and proactive, with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable working independently, with external agencies or as part of a team, he/she will be able to devise and undertake activity from brief through to delivery, often working to multiple, competing deadlines. His/her excellent communication skills will help to build strong working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

CONTRACT: Permanent, Full-time
HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week
ANNUAL SALARY: A competitive annual salary will be negotiated with the preferred candidate.

Following a review of the executive and management structure, we have created the new role of COO to lead the effective operation of the Academy. As a member of the new executive team and acting as deputy to the Principal, the COO will lead our operational and academic services – spanning academic services & development, facilities, finance, HR and IT – and ensure that services are carefully aligned with our strategy and develop to support our ambitious plans. We have already made significant progress towards our next strategic milestone which will see LAMDA become a Higher Education Institution in its own right and, in time, achieve its own taught degree awarding powers.

We are seeking candidates who can bring a proven track record of developing and implementing strategy and operational systems and experience of leading change. Our new COO will bring extensive experience of higher education and knowledge of academic management, admissions and quality assurance, as well as extensive experience of leading operational services. The COO will also have a critical role to play in building leadership capacity across professional and academic services, focused on delivering outstanding operational systems and student service.
