Whether you want to act professionally or just love acting as an empowering element in your life, this course gives you the opportunity to understand what learning as and working in the "ensemble" means and how this can be translated in to other environments. All about the course

Training as an actor and working in theatre looks very different now than it did 10 years ago. At LAMDA our curriculum and ways of working are constantly shifting to reflect the every evolving demands of a changed industry.

Artist development is at the heart of this course, alongside championing new voices and new work. This course is intense, fun and empowering. It has a heavy emphasis on artist development and team work and will include workshops on self-creating, writing and devising.

A brand-new course, this is a unique opportunity to be part of LAMDA's summer ensemble. In 3 intense weeks you will learn all about what it means to work as an ensemble, allowing you to grow alongside your peers as you work on duologues from contemporary theatre, as well as an ensemble piece of new writing, incorporating newly learnt devising techniques.

You'll meet like-minded creatives on this course and learn from and inspire each other.

Teaching takes place at LAMDA in Barons Court, west London, although due to the current Covid 19 pandemic, some of the course may be altered to accommodate local restrictions, social distancing measures, or a transition to blended learning (a mix of online and onsite delivery) or entirely online learning. Any changes would be communicated to you in advance.
