About the show

This is a show about procarity, uncertainty and circularity.

Be casual.

This is a show about zero hours contract work and instability.

There is no obligation for you to perform work.

This is a show about working from 9-5 from 15-75.

Yawn and stretch and try to come to life.

This is a show about worrying about worrying about worrying.

We might not need you. We are not obligated to give you anything.

This is a show about money and bingo and luck.

What are you waiting for? Put your back in it.

About the director, Jess Haygarth

Jess is a director and theatre maker specialising in devised theatre making. She is passionate about telling stories which highlight the voices of marginalised individuals, specifically queer people, working class people and women.  In her work she creates interactive environments where audiences are encouraged to question their beliefs and opinions.

Before coming to LAMDA she created several online and in person shows with Shrinking Violet Theatre Collective and performance art pieces for theatres such as the Tron. She usually works collaboratively with a company to create work but also has experience working as a dramaturg, writer and assistant director.
