All about the course

Across one day, you will use cutting-edge technology and experiential learning as you're introduced to the art of Motion Capture. The course is hosted in LAMDA's brand-new, 30-camera MOCAP studio, which uses Vicon systems and boasts a sprung floor.  

Designed for both professional actors and directors, this course will be an introduction to the basic skills and creative pipeline required for Motion Capture projects, with group activities geared towards emulating a small scale real world scenario.

Key Information

This course is for participants aged 18 and above.

To take part in this course, you must be a professional working in a relevant sector of film or TV.

You should have a level of English that is approximately IELTS 6.0. Although English language tests aren't mandatory, we recommend that if you are a non-native English speaker without a Level 6 IELTS, then you must have the equivalent English language experience. This may be assessed via telephone call by the Admissions team. If you are unsure if you meet this requirement, please contact our Short Course team on [email protected].
