About the course
Experience life on a Musical Theatre programme with this intro course, designed for anyone who is interested in training as a musical theatre performer.
You'll participate in classes which reflect a typical timetable on a full-time musical theatre conservatoire course, with skills classes (Acting, Singing, Dance) in the morning, followed by repertoire project rehearsals in the afternoon. The course will culminate in a relaxed, informal sharing of your work. All classes and rehearsals will be led by expert LAMDA musical theatre tutors and directors.
You'll leave the course with a clear understanding of what it's like to train as a musical theatre performer at a modern drama conservatoire.
What will I learn?
- Learn about the role skills classes (Acting, Singing, Dance) play in musical theatre training.
- Understand how to apply what you've learnt in skills classes skills to a repertoire rehearsal project.
- Discover if musical theatre training is right for you.
