About the course
This practical course is the ideal way to prepare for your drama school auditions. Working with an expert LAMDA tutor, you’ll be guided through how to select, prepare and perform audition monologues – learning techniques and approaches which you can take away and utilise.
Working alongside peers, you’ll be encouraged to support and celebrate each other as you learn and work. You'll explore how to build confidence in the audition room, how to make an impact and how to show your best work. You'll also get a chance to discuss the technique of self-taping and leave with practical techniques to help you film your work with confidence.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions in an open, exploratory environment. Above all, this course aims to enable your independent practice and provide you with processes and techniques that you can take away and apply within your audition preparation after you've completed the course.
Please note, this course is designed to introduce you to audition techniques and does not guarantee you a place on a drama school programme.
