Is this the course for me?
This course is for anyone aged 16 or 17, with an interest in acting. Whether you’re a seasoned amateur performer, or are just getting started, this course is the place for you.
All about the course
Youth Company allows young people aged 16 to 17 to participate in a rehearsal environment surrounded by peers. You will learn the skills required to take a text from page to performance. The course will culminate in a brief informal showing of your work.
The course will start from the beginning, introducing the rules of a rehearsal room. You will receive rehearsal skill training, providing a foundation in movement and voice. You will then spend the remaining time rehearsing your texts, ready for showing.

Key Information
You must be 16-17 at the beginning of the course.
The course is delivered through the medium of English. Non-native speakers of English should have a level of English approximately equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
You can apply for this course through us directly.
If you are offered a place on the course you will need to pay a deposit of 10% within five days of the date of your offer email to secure your place.
You will then need to pay the remainder of the course fee within 21 days at the latest. You must pay the full balance before the commencement of the course.
