About the course

Whether you join us for a weekend intensive, 4 day course or two weeks, you'll gain an insight into what training at LAMDA as a full time student is like and experience conservatoire style training.

With classes in acting, voice, movement and singing, you will get an insight into the core skills of of actor training offered at LAMDA. Your tutors will work with the group to create a supportive environment where you can work collaboratively with like-minded individuals. The course is tailored to the cohort's need, so will be adapted to support your collective skill set and interests.

Project directors will work with students every day on a contemporary project – either a one act play, or a collection of duologues. The combination of skills classes and rehearsal project reflect a typical timetable at LAMDA, and the rehearsal project enables you to put into practice everything you’re learning in your skills classes. The rehearsal process will culminate in a relaxed internal sharing of work on the final day.
