Trained as an actor, Kate soon moved into directing theatre and opera and now works across the disciplines of television, video games, VR, film and theatre.
In 2017-18, Kate was selected as one of only 15 UK female screen directors for BAFTA Elevate and additionally for the Directors UK High End TV Drama Award.
As a Lead Performance and Cinematic Director for Video Games, Kate has directed many nominated or awarded performance capture shoots for games such as the twice BAFTA nominated Mafia III; 2016 BAFTA winner Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture; and 2015 BAFTA winner Alien: Isolation. Kate was Lead Voice Director on Witcher 2 and 3, the latter being the 2015 winner of The Game Award for Game of the Year.
